First Time Is A Charm

I'm pregnant! We found out yesterday afternoon and we are very excited though it doesn't feel real yet. This was the first month we started trying to have a baby. As luck would have it, first time's a charm! We didn't think we'd be that lucky.

I immediately called the nurse midwife to set an appointment. The nurse there said that I am three weeks and four days along. I have an appointment set for August 11th, so we will find out more then. Right now, according to most of these due date calculators:

The baby is due: March 18, 2009
The second trimester begins: September 3
The third trimester begins: December 17

Some of the calculators say different dates, but its generally around the preceding time frame.

We tried to call everyone in the family (and close friends) last night, so I'm sorry if you didn't hear from us. I promise we thought of you! For those who are interested in what the baby's name will be... If it is a boy, we will name him Landon Christopher Gilbey. If it is a girl, we will name her Aubrey Elizabeth Gilbey. We won't find out the sex of the baby for a long time, so we are just hoping for a healthy baby at this point! I can't wait to find out though.
