So, I'm back from yet another doctor's appointment. I'm officially at 6 months (24 weeks). My bp was 100/60, so that's good. I gained 3 lbs, which means that I am finally out of the negatives and at +2 lbs overall. They measured my belly for the first time. I guess all was well with that. Aubrey's heart rate was at 148, so she is sounding good. Aubrey kept kicking at the doppler the whole time. Really funny, especially since now you can see the movements on the outside of my belly.
I met with the other midwife in my doctor's office today, so I'll either get her or the other lady that I have had these past 6 months when I go into labor. I really want this new lady though because she is super nice!
The rent-a-tech from my last ultrasound didn't fill out some of the necessary paperwork on Aubrey. This means that I get another one now that they have an actual tech who, cross your fingers, will still be around next week. I'm pretty excited to get to see Aubrey again, so no complaints here. So, that will be next week, I think Friday.
Next up is the glucose test. I'm scheduled for that on Dec. 23 super early in the morning. I'll have to start fasting at midnight, then drink a high-sugar drink, then wait an hour and get my blood drawn. All this just to find out if I have gestational diabetes or not. Then, I 'll have an appointment with my new favorite midwife.
All in all, this pregnancy is going really well! No complaints here. We're just really happy that Aubrey is healthy.
